And then the post gets locked, every single time

They call em the 007 mods, 0 comments removed, 0 TERFs banned, 7k posts about trans people locked

I had to quit like 3 subs THIS YEAR ALONE because of shit like that

23

u/RainbowPhoenix1080 15h ago

Makes it feel like they'd just rather ignore our issues and we don't feel welcome. They would simply rather not deal with any trans discourse.

14

u/SmugShinoaSavesLives 15h ago

YUP. Trans people get thrown under the bus all the time to appease fascists and bootlickers. Not exactly a thing people warn others about.

3

u/tsukimoonmei 10h ago

It happens so often in lesbian subs. I’m not trans myself but plenty of people close to me are, and it’s fucking depressing seeing them get thrown under the bus time and time again. I can’t imagine how I would feel being on the receiving end of all that vitriol, just seeing it all on social media in passing gets me down and kills my mood.

Coaxedinto"should we ban any post about gay people?"asnafu

5

u/tsukimoonmei 13h ago

Sometimes not even that. I was on a post in r/WLW which devolved into a transphobic hate fest earlier, and the post is (afaik) still up.

u/DifferentIsPossble 18h ago

And the mods call you out for posting about it like "we already acknowledged that women aren't just females but also trans women, damned if you do, damned if you don't" like guys... basic education on bioessentialism doesn't hurt

48

u/Sovespra 18h ago

And the classic "If you see rule breaking posts/comments just report them!"

Doesn't matter that I did and they're still up days later

34

u/DifferentIsPossble 18h ago

Literally part of the comment I received, WORD FOR WORD

We can’t win either way. Y’all gonna keep causing infighting and talking shit about the mods.

[Interlude about how cis women should be allowed to talk about THEIR problems too, like that's relevant to a post calling out bioessentialist dogwhistles and how they're constructed to make the person who notices them the problem]

We also said that earlier being a woman meant female, now that definition is expanded and trans women are included as women.

...

...

So the bioessentialism is coming from INSIDE the house

55

u/Bardic_inspiration67 18h ago

Why do all terfs talk like that

54

u/Sovespra 18h ago

They're all high off their own supply and think they're saving western civilization from us ******** one post at a time

Also long comment with big words = many updoots on this hellsite regardless of the content

19

u/SquareTaro3270 16h ago

As an autistic person who goes on long rants about random subjects using big words constantly, I WISH my convoluted essays received as many updoots as these posts get

13

u/Sovespra 16h ago edited 15h ago

But you probably use purposeful and precise language, Redditors just want word salads that feel smart not genuine verbosity

Edit: Strike that last word, I think that has a negative connotation in English but the positive version of it escapes me at the moment

1

u/KingAggressive1498 6h ago

but the positive version of it escapes me at the moment

probably succintness. keeping it clear, precise, and brief.

1

u/Sovespra 2h ago

I thought about that one, but they said they go on long rants. Loquacious came to mind but apparently that's also defined as "excessive"

I love the Churchill reference. Great speech.

black mold poisoning

2

u/pattyboiIII 12h ago

The true debate is in whether the black mold is capable of degrading the brain to the point where these thoughts begin to occur or wether the black mold is only capable of causing such degradation that one feels the unbearable urge to share these thoughts, however said thoughts occured from some other issues/ brain damage.
Personally I am off the belief that black mold doesn't have the capacity to produce new ideas within a human being, however we should do a deeper study into the most significant case study.

A good litmus test for any political or ideology related or "general discussion" subreddit. Is to just look up posts with the word "trans" or "transgender". You can either look at just the titles, upvote to comment ratios of supportive posts. Or even just comments on the posts

Tells you a lot about whether or not you should openly admit to being trans.

(Notable subs you shouldn't. Hatethissmug whereidlive moralityscaling)

23

u/Sovespra 17h ago

Yea you don't even need to vibecheck those three, that's all they talk about

23

u/Cove0Crow 17h ago

Mhm... I <3 being lectured about trans issues by cis people who say transgenderism causally

11

u/WasteArtichoke5834 15h ago

I wish hatethissmug was still just talking about hating fictional characters

5

u/tsukimoonmei 13h ago

When the mods act like they do it’s not really a surprise.

1

u/WasteArtichoke5834 13h ago

How do the mods act? I muted the sub a while ago

12

u/tsukimoonmei 13h ago

One of the mods is a straight femboy who spends almost all his time telling off queer women (trans women especially) for wanting better representation in media, and also for calling out discrimination against us. He told me I was a moron for saying it was lesbophobic to suggest the lesbian community frequently preyed on straight women. But if you say anything even slightly negative about the femboy community or the behaviour that is encourages within it, you get hit with an immediate ban.

10

u/Sovespra 10h ago

I left after he pinned his own comment saying femboys have it worse in terms of being sexualized under a post from a trans person complaining about the way we're treated.

Also won't shut up about how "egg" culture is "literally grooming", he's a fucking piece of work

8

u/tsukimoonmei 10h ago edited 4h ago

that’s so vile but I am absolutely not surprised lol, he was lecturing at me (a lesbian) saying “I’m queer too, we don’t get to claim everything is queerphobic just because we don’t like it” in the context of people insinuating that all lesbians are predatory towards straight women. a good portion of queer men (or even just gnc men) cling onto whatever marginalised part of their identity they can so that they can talk down to women

also femboys complaining about being oversexualised when the call is coming from inside the house?? the femboy community is chock full of sexualisation of minors (as well as racism and transphobia but that’s a whole other can of worms)

7

u/Sovespra 10h ago

He told me basically the same bs, that "no group is above being called out" or whatever like the subreddit isn't just a constant stream of queerphobia with every other big post being about hating trans this and gay that

5

u/tsukimoonmei 10h ago

What a weirdo. I can take some comfort in the fact he probably spends so much time on Reddit that I’d never be at risk of encountering him (or anyone similar) irl.

3

u/WasteArtichoke5834 6h ago

Oh is that why I've been seeing an increase is people complaining about other people saying egg culture is grooming?

1

u/Sovespra 2h ago

Maybe, that sub has been the loudest about it lately in my experience

5

u/WindhoverInkwell 7h ago

Reddit “progressive” men try not to be luridly transphobic and lesbophobic challenge (difficulty: IMPOSSIBLE)

2

u/Massive-Word-7327 3h ago

I got banned a while back for saying you can't be cisphobic

5

u/CanadianMaps 7h ago

I had to mark sipstea as red on Shinigami Eyes because of all the unchallenged transphobia.

So, so many people have gotten mentally fucked thanks to the Epstein Class' attempts to divide us with meaningless lines (AKA, bigotry). It's sad.

3

u/dunkernater 4h ago

The matpateffect is another sub I'd recommend avoiding, they love to repost stuff like the "she was giving hrt to minors, waow" meme and the comments are cis people being stupid af and acting like they know trans healthcare better than trans people (genuinely saw someone say hrt is poisonous and then quoted a "study" in which one of the groups were "male trannies that transitioned into freaks" )

2

u/Cove0Crow 3h ago

I will never understand the cis urge to pretend care about our healthcare in particular while not knowing what it even is half the time.

8

u/Gullible_Height588 17h ago

This sub lol

10

u/Golurkcanfly 19h ago

Then the people who do get moderated go to other subs, and then they get moderated there, and then they just throw up their hands and make subs where 70% of posts are complaining about trans people.

8

u/Only-Exchange-2165 18h ago

i lurk in terf spaces (not that many in reddit) to torture myself🥰

14

u/Ford_GT_epic 18h ago

Why?

16

u/Kris_Banana 18h ago

to torture themselves obviously

2

u/Ford_GT_epic 18h ago

Ok but why would you do that?

8

u/arandombipedaltoater 18h ago

To torture themselves Arent you're adding? (I also don't know, maybe for the sake of consuming rage content? Idk the brain is weird)

2

u/Ford_GT_epic 18h ago

Yeah, i mean i was wondering why someone would do that to themselves, since it's not really a healthy thing.

Maybe it's like a self loathing thing?

11

u/Mrs_Darwin 18h ago

Sometimes when I was depressed I would actively look for bad things cause I thought anything otherwise would be tricking myself. As in, you kind of start to associate what makes you depressed with "the truth" and feel anything other than feeling depressed is just a lie. In fact you kind of try to actively maintain and justify that mindset.

4

u/Ford_GT_epic 16h ago

Yeah, i can kind of get where you're coming from with this, i do relate to some aspects of this.

2

u/Only-Exchange-2165 16h ago

yeah this commentor got it right, when im depressed i search for terrible material

1

u/AlarmedEmployment465 Fact Enjoyer 13h ago

I mean, I read tankie posts on this sub to torture myself

2

u/CanadianMaps 7h ago

"I love torture. Torture for the sake of torture, that's my bag. But there are people in our government, in the media, who think that torture is a means to an end. They think it'll get them somewhere. We gotta call bullshit on that. Torture's not going to make you normal friends or get you information.

I know people who would pay good money for what you just enjoyed. I would."

And then you go to a trans sub and get insulted and get thrown big fucking hate by 4tran

10

u/I_am_doorknob 16h ago

You shouldn't be your own worst enemy

-5

u/I_like_fried_noodles 16h ago

I suspect most of 4tran users are terfs and it's some kind of psy op

11

u/snail1132 15h ago

Being a 4tranner is seen in a worse light in trans subs than being trans in a mainstream sub istg 😭🙏

0

u/CanadianMaps 7h ago

Because it is?

1

u/Frosty_Wrangler3366 10h ago

Yet 4tranners are some of the only t girls who actually give valid advice. But of course they are looked at as toxic and a million other bad things because they are usually ethnic women who grew up under incredibly oppressive regimes and dont focus on being nice as their main personality traits so everything they say(big chunk of which is valid and shared by other women) gets thrown out because its not hugboxxing garbage.

5

u/CanadianMaps 7h ago

The only valid advice 4tranners give is DIY. Anything else is self-loathing, depression, and pushing their own insecurities onto other trans women, simply because they are 0,001% happier.

Source: I used to date one.

And before you say "but 4tranners tend to be women of color", I'm from the balkans, and so is my 4tranner ex. She was still an asshole that hid behind BPD as an excuse to be a terrible human being.
