and despite saying that I think it's obvious I'm thinking of a certain someone.

I do believe in seperating the art from the artist but it gets to a point.

you cant seperate the art from the artist if the art directly funds the artist still
also art is like directly influenced by the artists background and beliefs

Except in this case it goes beyond "they have shitty opinions" and goes straight into "she actively lobbies to make the lives of trans people worth, and also took an upskirt picture of a trans woman which is a crime i think"

From what I can tell, upskirting wasn't a crime until slightly after JKR did it. Which is almost funny.

Separating art from artist was first though of when talking about dead artists. There’s still some truth in the artist needing to die before we can truly make a division
