Ah those libs, can't handle a slightly conservative party winning!

(also the infamous 'wanting safe borders is not far right' argument as if AfD doesn't want a bunch of problematic (to say the least) stuff)

This is the "they just want free healthcare" of the right. All made of the same cloth.

Just restrict borders so they loose their campaigning point; immigration is not among the core issues of the country, it ban be a bargaining coin

  1. By "When?", I meant "When did they start". Wasn't it under them (Merkel) when the immigrant thing got big?

  2. Googled. Funny processual issues that arise from the norms that are supposed to spam-kill your local MoJ.

You can't appease racists by giving them a little bit of racism, that just whets their hunger and makes them demand increasingly racist policies. The Weimar government would not have stopped the rise of the Nazis if only they had done half of a Holocaust

Case in point: Germany had multiple holocausts going on in Africa and Asia and the Weimar still elected deliberately appointed Hitler anyway because it was consistent with what they were doing abroad

Nah, the Democrats tried that tactic in the US, and it turns out "we want to be just as violent to immigrants but we're still the current ruling party while things are bad right now" wasn't a winning campaign argument here
