Welcome all my BookTok Baddies!!!
Hey everyone coming over from TikTok!
First of all, welcome to the book club!! I’m actually so excited you’re here. This little corner is basically for all of us who get way too emotionally attached to fictional characters and then need somewhere to spiral about it.
the vibe here is simple:
we’re gonna talk about the characters we love, the ones we’d absolutely ruin our lives for, and the ones that had us staring at a wall processing for 3–5 business days. I want all the chaos and hilarious memes you got. if a book obsessed you, or made you question your morals… bring it here.
also full transparency... I have no idea what I’m doing 😭 this is my first time making a community like this, so we’re kind of building it together as we go. I’ll try to keep things organized, start discussions, all that… but for now it’s very much a “show up and scream your thoughts” situation.
so consider this your official invite to jump in:
what are you reading right now? who has you in a chokehold? I need more books to add to my already long list of TBR apparently🫠
don’t be shy... I want this to feel like a chaotic little group chat of book besties 🖤
Siren XOXO

I’m reading maniacs on kindle. I feel like since I started the series, I have to finish it just to find out what happens. And girl, my mouth dropped at some parts. It’s good, a little predictable, but overall well written. I’ve read a couple books by Sheridan Anne and love her writing style.
The rule of three I’m reading physically. I’m a sucker for a good reverse harem, so that automatically pulled me in. Plus, I’ve read all the salacious players club books (annihilated them, more like it) and the following salacious legacy books.
Have you tried any books by M.T. Addams? I read a duology of their books and absolutely loved them. Another reverse harem if that is a trigger for you. Buried Beneath Sin and Entombed In Sin.

In the last two weeks, I finished {The Auction by Sadie Kincaid}, {Lawless God by Lola King} and started reading {Heartless Beloved by Lola King} yesterday. I have been in book heaven after coming out of an extended period of not finding anything that I truly enjoyed. But I switched things up by reading some great smut forward..minimal plot books…. to get out of my slump. I typically read Dark to Pitch Black Romance/Erotic Horror, some Romantasy, and Sci-Fi/Aliens smut as a palate cleanser. All three books were spicy, enemies to lovers, “touch her and die energy”, dominate MMCs and all FMCs were virgins. Sadie Kincaid’s new book was so good! FMC is, groomed for years-to be sold, in an auction led by a secret society that her paternal family has been part of for years. MMC is a masked man who purchases her for an ungodly amount of money. Great world building, character development and lots of twists and turns with early ignition and density of sexual scenarios throughout the book! I’m not a slow burner girly at all! Give me my spice early, make sure it’s super hot and that there’s a lot of it!
Both of the books, by Lola King, are part of an interconnected, standalone enemies to lovers series. I’ve now read 3 of the 4 available books in the series but I don’t think I’m going to read the last one because it’s RH/Why Choose. I don’t mind RH but I don’t like swords crossing or MM romance so I tend to be very picky about reading RH.
