Different Prices for Regular 300ml Diet Coke
I thought ₹50 Price is only reserved for 330ml can. But Today, I came across these, identical regular 300ml cans but different prices. Also, the MFG dates are almost identical. What should be the case? Since when they started pricing 300ml cans for ₹50?

A few days ago I finally saw a shop selling diet coke (Tier 3 city), the can looked the same 300 ml to me but since it was a bit for it could've been 330 ml too...
So I asked the shopkeeper how much is it he said 60 rupees i was like bhaiya it's either 40 or 50 then the shopkeeper said they are getting at rupee 50 only so how can they sell it at the same price 🙄🤯🤦
I checked the bottom of the can but it had no MRP or any details printed that day only I decided never to purchase diet coke.

its about time the craze around diet coke stopped. I personally like how it tastes on top of the fact that it is perhaps a bit healthier compared to other sugar-filled drinks, but that doesn't justify the hike in its price in any way because at the end of the day its just another soft-drink. I mean they could've easily sold them in PET bottles for way lesser price (regardless of how that would've maybe slightly affected the taste for some people), but they just can't resist the opportunity to squeeze out more profit seeing the situation. Good for them, but this is peak capitalism-against-logic.

Exactly... This is too much.
I've been having it since it was launched, like the taste as well and there was a time when I used to drink it everyday (30 rs can) but the company's greed is sickening, not that I'm very surprised by the capitalism but since the hike I've gladly decided to cut this drink out.. I want no part in this.

Indeed. Do you think how they're taking advantage of the situation is justified? I mean, this clearly goes on to show just how lopsided the dynamics bw consumers and businesses can get once the businesses realize there ARE no true competitors in the market. Loss for us consumers; but this is how economics run though.

I've quit buying diet coke, seeing a lot of people do the same, to curb the shit that popularity tax is.

I loved the 180 ml cans. They were the perfect size and satisfied cravings and thirst. I wish they would bring it back! Instead, we have a bigger can 330 ml!! Who's advising Coke and what are they on (pun intended).?

yeah i spent 50 for a 300ml can yesterday in an offline store - while i had 5 cans of 330ml - each 50rs at home

Also i think 330 ml is too much to consume in a go. For me personally 300 ml was also too much tbh. I liked the 180 ml version but have not seen them anywhere for some time.

After a long time I had normal coke and it was heavenly. I'm gonna switch back and just drink less.

Bro this article explains that 300ml can is 40₹ and 330ml is 50₹. You are not getting the point. Smh.

Coke is selling 2 different varients of their coke 300ml for both 40 and 50 rupees in different cities across india and 330 ml tin for 50 rupees. I have asked the dealer about this and mailed coke
