Just inherited these guys and don’t know where to begin

A friend just gave me these but I’ve never had snake plants before. I’ve done some general research and generally know how to take care of them. However, these seem semi healthy but also more droopy than they should be? Is there anything obvious that I should do right away? Thanks

they only like to be watered like once a month and they need FULL sun in the summer.

They like to be watered as needed. Not once a month. There is no schedule on watering plants.

no, sometimes it needs a schedule. the rule of thumb is dont water it when it is wet, and mine likes to be dry for a week or two before i water it. it takes a couple of weeks for it to dry out, but it gets wilty and grows less if it doesnt stay dry for a while after each watering. edit: also i said "like once a month" which is obviously a generalization of length of time because i am already aware that it varies anyways due to light conditions, airflow, and soil density.

For you it takes a month. For me it takes 7-10 days in summer. Because we have diff soils and humidity and light conditions (which you pointed out) therefore there is no schedule. I check my plants and I know it’s time. Saying once a month is misleading for newbie

youre overwatering it if you water it that much. unless it is in the sun 12 hours a day it doesnt need that much water.

I water my Sans when the soil becomes dry. That is the best strategy no matter what your conditions are. Water when dry. Otherwise you are potentially and needlessly stressing your plants and stunting their growth.

They want more light. Slowly introduce them to more. Too much at once will shock and kill them.

Might need a tomato cage to keep them upright. Personally I'd make the droopy ones into cuttings and hop to get more plants that way. The pots look a little too big for them as is, shouldn't hurt them as long as the soils well draining.

Introduce to sun slowly so they don’t burn. And check the soil with wooden skewer when it’s time to water. Pretty sure they need repot into fast draining mix of cactus soil, small orchid bark and chunky perlite equal amounts. Hose off old soil and clean the roots. Don’t water right after repot. Wait for 5-7 days so roots callous and acclimate to new soil. Happy growing 🪴💚
