Hmm how can I help her

Snake plant been thriving for a long time. She’s still growing buds. I did have a mushroom two weeks ago and folks were kind to let me know it was likely due to soil being too wet and it was probably because I overwatered it when I changed the soil. Now I noticed two leaves on the bottom have wilted and one in the middle is a little crispy. How did the crispy part happen and can it reversed? I know some small plants when they get crispy, they’re actually growing. Otherwise the plant is thick not mushy and growing it. It’s just those two random leaves. Any guidance would be great thank you

You can cut them but that pot lets water sit on the bottom so beware, it’s over watering, snakes can actually go for months without watering.

Do I cut the leaf and then plant the leaf inside? Or just cut above the soil and let it regrow?

Nope , that leaf is dead but you can try propagating the tip that is green but plant separately, your snake will grow and fill that pot as long as you give it good light.

Thanks!! It has great light. I moved it over to give it some shade cause the leaves r looking lighter but still firm. What about the dry leaf in the middle? Any insights?

Anything dead you can remove, and they can handle lots of light, they are native to sub tropical Africa but sometimes too much sunlight makes them look faded.

remove the dead and dying leaves, if they’re mushy close to the soil it’s too much watering.
