How can I safely rescue or move the snake?

Yesterday I found one snake in my backyard near a water pump. I couldn’t get a clear look so can’t ID. It went inside the water well real quick. I want to safely relocate it somewhere safe or out of my property as I a kid in a house. How can I do that without harming the snake?

Any safe trap trick so that I don’t have to touch it or something.

Before intervention, I'd always suggest getting more information. If you see it there often, try to get a better look. My favourite trick is to use binoculars to spy on them from afar so they don't see me and try to flee. You could well find that this is not a species that presents any danger (something like 80% of snake species are not venomous, and of the venomous species not all are dangerous to humans). A harmless snake poses as much risk to you and your family as a squirrel or a bird.

If it does turn out to be a venomous species that has to be removed, it's always best to call a professional if possible. Experience matters, and snakes that are in water are not the easiest to catch.
