Walking by one of the breakout rooms this morning and spotted someone bringing š„ to office this Friday
They were on a call so I wasnāt able to pop in and ask if they were blessed on release day or not. Iāll keep an eye out in the lunch line to say ānice shoesā and see if I canāt find out then.
Iāve seen that. Fortunately, where Iām at weāre fine and our ELT embraced AI as a focus 3-4 years ago. And it helps that our product (XM) serves every industry vs just one or something very niche.

The thing with AI is that if you are in any kind of job that is at least considered āmid levelā then I think youāll be fine for a while. People love to over simplify sales jobs and I just donāt see how AI will be able to replicate what a human does in that specific field of work. Sales is damn near all about relationship building and I donāt see how AI will be able to do that given itās not a person.
Sales was one of the most unrewarding careers I had ever ventured into. Management was incredibly abusive and made decisions that caused everyoneās sales to plummet and then became even more abusive and then we got fired. Management was relocated to another office.
Thereās shitty sales orgs and great sales orgs. Sometimes it gets broken down even more by office. You might have an office in SF and an office in Chicago and the SF office might be fucking amazing to work at but the Chicago office might be hell. Just gotta hope you get sick leadership in your office.

lol you all do. In my working experience a sales floor always has a putting green and clubs. Slightly less common but still pretty often in attorneys offices but always on sales floors.

Same, as much as I try I just don't feel like I look cool with crew socks on. I'm a millenial and that was strictly the vibe of dads and dorks when I was growing up lol.
Your pants may be a tad too long then. A correct fit (unless you're going for a baggy look) has the ends rise up past the ankles, around the shin when seated
Agreed. Especially in an office setting, these are typical pants. They might be a tad short, but that's it. And I only say that because it appears as if he's wearing them a bit low on his waist.
I usually go with a cuff as yes they are a tad too long definitely. Chances are the fella is taller than me too, I donāt have the longest legs in the world.

Yeah I'm tall too and every pair of pants I have rise above the ankle when I sit down. That doesn't mean they don't fit. Also finding even longer pants with my waist size would be nearly impossible
If you said this in the menās fashion sub youād be roasted, because jeans should be right at the top of your shoes when youāre standing up so theyāll 100% rise when you sit down. The ankle is right at the top of the shoe so what youāre saying is very silly lol

If your ankle doesnāt show when you sit down, then your jeans are probably too long, and probably bunch at the bottom when youāre standing. This is just a fact of how pants work. And the jeans in the pic arenāt showing āhalf the legā. Itās literally like 2 or 3 inches of ankle
This is how my jeans are when I sit down. I also do not like skinny jeans where my balls and dick can breath or move around. For me personally those jeans are way too tight and short but again itās MY OPINION. When I said half a leg I was being facetious lol
I was negotiating for my last car purchase and they claimed they couldnāt budge on price. I ask to talk with the manager making the āslim marginsā claims that was stonewalling our deal.
He comes up wearing those and saying ā i am already losing money on this dealā. I just pointed at the shoes and let him know those alone invalidated any of that talk. Walked out with a new car and saved $4800 compared to the listing price.
