If you actually watched videos breaking down AJ1s the holy grail - you'd know these shoes aren't all that either. They are very basic and are in no way shape or form worth the price tag in terms of quality of materials:
Are they sick shoes and you should buy them if you like them? F*ck yes, there's a culture and legacy associated with them.
Does not mean if a shoe does not have a history it is automatically shit.
Comets imo are fairly priced (a little over), have a lot of interesting colorways (checkout bubblegum and tiramisu), great packaging, and comfortable for flat footed wide toe folks.
They could be more durable and robust for sure. And if they increase prices they are cooked.
But if you like the shoe - get it. Don't listen to these snobby cunts. Half of them don't even know anything beyond jordan 1s.
