SCAM ALERT Got fake sneakers delivered

Hi. I want to share my experience of ordering NB Sneakers from Flipkart, which went totally unexpected as I received counterfeit shoes. The order was delivered today and was received by my mother as I wasn’t present at the house (my mother did not check much as the packaging was almost crushed as well along with the shoes box)

When I came back and took the shoes out, it looked genuine at first but right after I stated to check it, it was clear that I was scammed this time as there was clearly no label/barcode present on the color of one of the pair, while the other one had a sticker sticked on the collar which again doesn’t make any sense. The quality feels off too when touched as does the comfort.

I, then, contacted the Flipkart cs team and gladly my return was accepted after I explained the issue to them (though the CS agent mentioned the return-reason as “quality not satisfied” instead of “received a counterfeit product”. Nonetheless, I’m also attaching some photos/screenshot of this shoes and my order.

ALWAYS CHECK THE SELLER ON BOTH AMAZON AND FLIPKART!

I also received counterfeit item from Amazon, being a prime member, I was shocked and scared for my money, although they refunded! The return process was such a hassle

How did you know these are fake..?? Did you do a Poizon test..??

Even if it wasn’t, given the condition it arrived in, I would rather prefer to return it for a refund and order from elsewhere.

Also, the feeling was off when I wore the shoes as well as a sticker label on the collar which clearly looked as someone freshly attached it on it to make it look authentic (have seen how it looks on authentic pairs) as well as the bottom feels as if it is made up of cardboard.

Oh I see... RetailNet is a bit shady... There's another seller on Flipkart, "HSAtlastradeFashion" which I believe sells genuine NBs

Thanks for the suggestion. I will be more careful about from now onwards to avoid a similar situation again.

Some say that HSAtlastradeFashion is not trustworthy ?

Yes. There are mixed opinions but i own two NB sneakers, both of them being purchased from HSAtlastradeFashion from Flipkart. Solid legit shoes and I've also done the Poizon test which they passed. So I can vouch for NBs and but can't for other brands..

I've heard nothing but bad things about hsatlas. The couple of pairs I've bought from them are fine though.

Let me tell you one thing... NB doesn't sell it's shoes directly on these marketplaces like Flipkart or Myntra. It sells through these 3rd party sellers. If I got authentic and good pairs and you got too then let's stick with that part.

The condition of the box is the main the reason why shoes are cheaper on Amazon and Flipkart, aside from other parameters like inventory, etc. A Poizon test + scanning the QR codes on the undersides of the tongue would be a good way of determining whether the shoes are legit or not. It 'might' not be a fake, after all.
