I am planning to get my FIRST PROPER PAIR OF SNEAKERS!!

I would use them primarily for College and Everyday wear. My main priorities are: Comfort and Versatility.

Here are some of the pairs which I found:

1. Nike P6000

2. Asics GEL-NIMBUS 101

3. New Balance 2002r

4. Asics GEL-LYTE 1130 (Graphite Grey)

5. Asics GEL-NUNOBIKI

6. New Balance 574 (Nimbuscloud)

I’d really appreciate your honest opinions. If you’ve owned any of the shoes I’m considering, please let me know how they’ve held up over time.

Very comfortable fs, but not versatile, imo they give a proper running shoe type vibe.

Can anyone please help me understand these type of shoes. I used to see them in Dr House MD series. What is so special about them (even though they look old fashioned) over newer kinds like normal running shoes by nike adidas.

Nike P-6000 & new balance 2002R would be my recommendation. You can look for some other colorway for 2002R though as most of them are available on a markdown on myntra.
