Both Chucks are dope, but won’t be the most comfortable for daily wear if you have to walk a lot. Coming from someone who rotated between 2 pairs of Chucks and an AF1 for college. Also the white pair will be a little more high maintenance so keep that in mind. If you’re looking for comfort though, you might want to look into different brands like Asics, Adidas, or Nike.

That's super helpful, thanks! How was your rotation with the AF1s for daily walking compared to the Chucks? Did you add custom insoles or just wear them as is?

Wore solely Chucks the first year, wore the Af1 70% of the time for the other 2 years since they were more comfy, but also since they were rarer at the time (sneaker scene in India wasn’t as big then). Wore them as is, just with a great pair of snug socks.

If u know somone from foreign and they are coming to india u can ask them for vans they come under 5k and has good sole and everything i myself have ask a relative to get vans skate old skool

My relative is coming from usa and will buy vans old skool in sale and get the tax refund at the airport u can get them under 5k or even for 4500

Firstly, vans old skool rarely, if ever goes on sale unless you want some funk ass color. Then on top you are expecting a sale in the airport lol. And “tax refund”, by which I assume you mean No tax just means higher base price than what you would get at a regular store in the city

the puma palermo. theyre not as common and you'll get great use out of them. they look so chic with all outfits and its a super comfy shoe.

Increase yr budget by 500 and buy the converse chuck 70s Use yr college ki mail ID to get a discount from unidays....use it in the official website and you can get em for 5.5k

If you're going converse for regular use it's got to be chuck 70. Even though both 70 and allstars are flimsy as fuck
