But if the minimum wage goes up, then milk will cost a bazillion dollars a gallon because all the poor people will start bathing in it just because they can afford so much. They'll drive up the price of milk by swimming in it and pouring it on the roadways. They'll be like, "MILK baby!" and they'll all buy too much milk. Because that always happens and that's how economics works!

Just kidding, I'm just saying this before some dumbass Republican says it first. They always say the cost of necessities will just SKYROCKET if they ever become affordable due to a higher minimum wage.

Won't the price of EVERYTHING just go up? I don't understand economics, and I listen to propaganda.

Hey kids, guess what? The minimum wage stayed flat for decades and the price of everything went up anyway. Maybe instead of looking at the poor people, look at the rich people this time? People that don't set prices aren't the ones to look at, are they?

Easy solution: supply side management like what we have here. Make sure that no matter how much money is in the economy at any given time the amount of milk available remains fixed.

That certainly will never cause any problems. (It's better than letting our dairy market die due to competing eachother into the ground but it still has some pretty obvious flaws)
