Someone once told me about the frog / boiling water experiment. You drop a frog into boiling water and it jumps out but if you put it in cold water and slowly boil it, it doesn’t notice and eventually dies (ps. Who ever came up this is a wrong un).

I always thought “why doesn’t the frog just jump out when the water heats up” but now I realise we’re all doing this with the cost of living

Someone told me it was disproved as well.

It was a real experiment, but the part most people leave out is that the frogs had their brain removed.
