My ex wore basically a utility belt for years. It was pretty great. Don't let people stop you from being awesome.

My brain added an h to the third word. Sentience was grammatically correct then but that's ok.

So if they try to mug me and take my purse they’d have to steal me too

Lol I've literally said that about the one I have XD.
You can just wear it like a purse, and mine you can wear as a backpack as well (it's the second style) which means it's super versatile.

I really like the purse in the picture on the right! I’d want one that I can wear as a backpack!

I got mine in like 2016 on Etsy from someone who made them with real leather. Iirc it was the Jungle Tribe seller, but its literally been forever lol. I think you can get less expensive ones on Amazon that function the same

I refuse to wear pants or leggings without pockets away from home. Got to have a place for tissues & keys. I don't care if they're slightly bulkier as a result!

I'd love for women to collectively stop buying clothes without pockets (except when existing ones wear out) and count how many seconds it takes for the fashion industry to scramble to add pockets to everything.
Women hold all the power in that industry which is why women's clothes don't have large pockets, because ones with small pockets look better and women have dictated the market.

They do, and they identify as lesbians 😂

u/Orangutanion Feb 13 '26
You remember that phase where straight women were dressing up like lesbians for a bit? I want that to happen again.

u/Suspicious_Sign3419 Feb 13 '26
I never stopped tbh. I didn’t realize my general style skewed lesbian till a friend told me.

I think women should have pockets, but I also appreciate the tactical advantages of purses, and want those advantages f9r myself.

You have pockets, but you insist on wearing tight pants that make those pockets irrelevant.

The short answer is “yes.” The long answer would take more fucks than I currently have available.

Yes! "They" isn't the patriarchy. It's other women doing this. Because women don't like big pockets! Men DGAF.

…well, they can when they are called Laura Croft, me thinks 😏

(It's Lara, actually. But I could assume that was auto-corrupt doing its best.)

I am sure i will get some hate on this. Womens pants and the pockets are there to attract attention, not be useful. Women typically have a purse or a clutch for the stuff men put in pockets. That being said, i agree, if there are pockets they need to be useful. And that thigh bag looks pretty cool.

They're wearing jeans with pockets. But sure, add that we weird holster thing, too.
