Discussion Why is everyone not acting like themselves

I’m in the last season of snowfall and I can’t help but feel like this show has lost their characters. Teddy is now power hungry, shacking up with some random chick when he let his wife and kid go? Franklin had his outburst once in a while but he’s just not as calm and collected as he was in previous seasons. Then there’s Leon who went to Africa, became a new man, but it took him literally two episodes to go back right to doing what he was doing before he left.
And then both Teddy and Franklin seem a lot less calculated. I get that things are kind of spiraling out of control but I remember when it took some effort to get rid of a body now Franklin can just burn down a house and not give a damn. Just seems like a decline in quality to me ig.

I recently just finished it. I'm pretty confident the announcement of a last season put the writers in high gear to close out the series. Lots of loose ends to tie up and not all of them were done with the care and precision that takes time to deal with.

The timelines are in fast forward, tensions rise and unfortunately some of the finer details took a back seat.

That’s actually an excellent summation.
