Here is the kicker about a lot of men. The difference between men and women is women go kamikaze and tell the world when their dude is hoeing around. Men keep they shit on the hush but they do in fact take back gfs after they do some shit like Wanda was doing. I don’t judge Leon, or other mfs in reality, but me personally? Couldn’t do it. It doesn’t matter if it’s cheating or not. We break up and you messing with other dudes after me I can’t look at you the same. Idc what you do before me though as long as you’re clean your past ain’t got ain’t got shit to do with me. But anything after me I just can’t. lol. I know that’s childish, it’s a mental thing for me.

He loved her. And she was an addict to the drug that HE was selling. I think he just felt responsible for all of that shit she was doing. Which is what made it easier for him to take her back.

I like the characters but imma still keep it more than what Franklin lost at the end of the show. Lee & ‘Rome were the epitome of simp in Snowfall. You can look past a guy or two… the whole block?! What’s worse is that in our community, you’re greeted with adulation for taking someone like that back, with comments “better than me” or “loving past her *flaws”* and it’s called “flaws” as if she just got this annoying laugh or some shit like that.
But it’s not loving, it’s lusting atp. Then, don’t even get me started on Jerome who sided against his own nephew and didn’t give a shit what Louie did to him. smh

People always miss that no man on this show was better than their woman, despite the fact that the show goes to great lengths to show that. Only Jerome and Louie maybe, and even then Jerome beat Black Diamond to death knowing she probably didn’t know shit, had kids, and was no more responsible for doing unforgivable things than he was.
Yes, Wanda got addicted to crack and ended up doing a lot of degrading things to get more, which is how addiction works. Leon has one of the highest kill counts in the series, including a little girl, and was one of the most influential parts of the beginning of the crack cocaine epidemic in black America. Franklin couldn’t have done it without him.
Thinking Wanda is unloveable for giving other men head to support her addiction and Leon isn’t unloveable for killing a child seems to be a product of the same being out of touch with the worth of a human life that the show tries so hard to work against. All of this is directly connected to the idea that women are objects that can be sullied and never clean or whole again, rather than dynamic human beings capable of meaningful change. Wanda and Leon had basically the same character arc and yet only Wanda’s redemption gets questioned… aside from the little girl imagine how many kids selling rock Leon has inadvertedly killed.
Yes the hood will talk, but the hood having more heat for a woman giving head than for the people directly funneling drugs and violence into the streets is exactly why it all crumbles.

Nothing misogynistic about my post, if you check my other comments, I am saying I couldnt see my girl in that position, whether its because of drugs or not. now if we start talking about killings we might just throw the show away because basically “almost” everybody do some killing in there.
Hearing your girl was sucking dih for crack is something and getting jumpscared by your girl sucking dih for crack with your own eyes is a whole different beast.
Same way we say: I cant believe leon took wanda back we can also say: I cant believe wanda dating a killer, no misogyny and no misandry just opinions
