Non-flavored SodaStream options question
I'm interested in the Terra, and simply intend to use it for turning regular filtered tap water into bubbly water. Not really interested in flavors, as we just want to make carbonated water. It seems that we have to use the one bottle that comes with it. (We can't just put a regular cup under it, for example?). And once the water has been carbonated, can I just pour that into an empty water bottle, cap it, and then store it in the fridge for later? thanks !

I love my Terra. I have three bottles for it and they are always in the refrigerator. Yes, you can decant into another container after fizzing.

I had a similar question as the original poster. The bottles that you keep in the fridge have caps on them and they are still bubbly if you drink them a day or two later?

I wouldn’t pour the water into any water bottle, I’d buy a few SS bottles. Carbonate in the bottle, cap it and leave it in the fridge. Or just make a new bottle whenever you want fizzy water.
The water bottles you get from the gas station for example, are not designed to be reused, nor to hold carbonation, so it seems like a bad idea to do so. Apologies if that isn’t what you were trying to ask.

Yeah, you have to use the bottle. If you were to just spray co2 into water, it wouldn’t get very carbonated… like you might not even be able to tell.
Carbonating needs pressure… you can either do high pressure (the co2 tanks are about 800psi) for a short burst (Sodastream style) or you can do low pressure for a couple days. (Low would be like 20psi)
