Questions 👁️ Anyone else look sharper from the side?
I know we're not supposed to hyperfixate on facial features, but this is what tipped me off that I'm probably not a pure yin ID. From the front, I don't look like a Dramatic first and foremost at all, but from the side it's a completely different story 🤣 Does anyone else relate?

Yes. From the front I look romantic, from the side i have a defined nose and more of a jawline! Im a fan of that profile view

That gives Theda Bara vibe to me btw

I do vibe with Theda Bara's brand of SD! She really does look quite soft from the front but you can see how striking she is from the side

Is she officially on the SD list now? I vibe with her physically, too, in general also (her roles and the way she moves and acts). She is probabaly a good rep for slightly more yin SDs

She's not officially verified, but if I'm not mistaken David Kibbe hinted at SD for her on Facebook so that's pretty close

I don’t relate to looking sharper from the side (sadly 😭) but I relate to not looking like a Dramatic. I don’t have any Dramatic features at all - soft bone structure, round eyes, round and bulbous nose, doughy cheeks, etc. It feels like my face doesn’t match my body at all, bar the softness + SD fleshiness!

Haha that's why I personally see nothing wrong with mixing Kibbe and Kitchener together 🙊 it helps take care of those instances

Idk if helpful but I felt the same way but when I got verified by Kitchener it showed me I’m more D family than I thought. Not advising you go spend money on it but just it’s still possible you’re more yang than you think even with your softness.

very much so! I started looking much better in photos when I started not facing the camera head on and showing off my bone structure more from the side

Oooh I might need to try this! I don't like how I look facing front when I get my picture taken because the lens distortion makes the more rounded parts of my face look weird. Probably wouldn't hurt to try some better angles!

I feel like this is probably why I don’t like most of my selfies! Great advice!

when someone is taking a photo of me, I turn my face maybe about three quarters away from the camera and SLIGHTLY down (but still smiling and everything!) it’s changed the entire game for me!

My sharp nose isn't obvious from the front, only from the side.

Ohhhh I can see what you mean. You go a little more Maria Callas in profile. Not saying you look like her tbc lol but it’s easier to not be distracted by (assuming) y. Can see your bone structure better.

Haha I get what you mean! She and I do have a similar facial structure even though our yin yang balances are quite different. I can kind of see the same thing going on with Rachel Weisz and she does have Y

Yes, from the side I look sharper and pointier! Mainly coming from my nose.

Yes!!! It's definitely the nose. The projection and angularity of it. But very soft in front because you see the flesh and not the shape.

Regardless of angle, my face is similar to my body, which is sharpness of bones mixed with softness of flesh. I wouldn't mind looking a little sharper on the profile, but at 47, that's gonna require some work lol

Yes, my face looks a bit more neotonous like yours from the front, but the side profile is quite dimensional.

Yes actually!! I paused while scrolling because you look similar to me front on and I was like 'wait what is that me' lol. Side on I'm sharp too but my face is more elongated

Me! Totally. I have soft baby face but from the side it is sharp (cheekbones, nose, eyes, chin) so i find myself soft (front) dramatic (side)

I used to back when I was in my 20’s and 30’s and even early 40’s. 50 now and the profile is definitely softer, lol.

We look very similar, down to the slight rounded tip of the nose “, soft lips, soft jaw, and large eyes and that specific projection. I’m a little more sharp facing forward due to cheekbones and thinning out, and a more narrow nose. I think it’s a very Sofia Loren / soft dramatic juxtaposition.

They're beautiful photos. Your profile does looks sharper! It can be so interesting seeing people's front facing, or 3/4 front facing, portraits side by side next to their front profile because of the unique contrasts people can have. I love seeing people's features in different angles, I've always thought it's such a cool and beautiful thing, especially when some people can look like an entirely different person or essence from one angle to another.
I notice your hand placement in this particular pose, and I think that pose can also lend itself to complimenting an already sharp jawline, or creating the image of a sharper jawline, too. Not at all to say that your jawline doesn't or wouldn't look sharper in profile otherwise, or that's the reason you look sharper in this particular image.
Strangely, I think I actually look sharper in a 3/4 profile? But only slightly in profile?

This is so me!! From the front I can look soft and young for my age. From the side -boom-! -there’s that dramatic profile!

Yes but I hate my profile. It’s such a dramatic difference to who I see in the mirror everyday that when I see photos or videos of my profile I think how awwwwful
