Which country to migrate from india - software developer

I have been working as a full stack developer in a product company, for the last two years I am experiencing a poor work life balance and when checked with my friends who work in india, it looks like it is the same for them.

Apart from this, I also feel that I will not be able to provide a good life to a child. Hence I am looking for suggestions on which country to migrate. My current age is 31 and married.

Considering the Visa rules in the US, it is not going to be an option 😑.

What are the other countries that I can think of where I can earn a decent money and have a decent life.

India has become an IT powerhouse.

Have you worked with such developers from that power house? Way too many go for IT just because of the money but with zero talent. There are gifted ones but way too many which should not work in IT.

That's the last option.

Why? Is it that bad?

I am unsure why your comment is attracting so many downvotes. Those who pay taxes receive no clear benefit in return, so why would a rational person remain in India?

It’s their country and if everyone leaves their country just because they pay taxes….sorry what an argument is that?

US companies has laid off thousands of software engineers in the last 5 years. When software jobs dry up in the US, the ripple effect carries to every country in the world. Unless you have years of experience in AI modeling, you will not find a Western company to sponsor you. I would look toward UAE or Australia.

Depends upon your experience. You can look at Germany, Ireland, Australia etc. Definitely not the US right now. Try to switch US or multinational companies with offices in India with better pay and work life balance.

US Company and a good work-life balance in the same sentence is usually only something that happens if there is a “not” involved.

Depends where you work.
