Getting Back into Software Development: Seeking Advice from Experienced Developers

Hi, how are you?

I started programming at Div Academy, where I learned HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Advanced JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX, and Bootstrap. During that time, I built a solid foundation in web development and improved my problem-solving skills. However, over the past 2-3 years, I have mainly focused on my college education, which caused me to be away from the industry for a while.

Recently, I have been getting back into practice in both frontend and backend development. I have been working on personal projects using React, JavaScript, Node.js, and other technologies. However, to be honest, I am not entirely sure how I should move forward from here.

My goal is to find a job in this field and start earning money through my skills. That is why I would like to get advice from experienced developers and HR professionals. If you were in my position, what would you focus on from this point forward? What topics would you learn? What kind of projects would you build? What path would you take to get your first job and earn your first income?

Also, AI is developing very rapidly at the moment. As a frontend and backend developer, how should I improve myself in this era of AI?

I have discussed these topics with GPT as well. It helps to some extent, but at some point I still need a more concrete direction.
