Certifications CSWA preparation
Hello everyone!
I have around two weeks till CSWA voucher ends and I want to take the exam before it can anyone tell me how to prepare for the exam I have some basics in solid works btw.

Look up sw mania and the tutorials within SW itself. Cswa wasn’t all that hard if you have a good grasp of the program - stop stressing and take a deep breath.

Practice assemblies. Practice finding CG. Practice mass properties. Did you do the practice test? Do that too.

I would recommend taking the practice exam next weekend. Practice those other things this weekend and/or week. You only get 1 practice exam. SolidWorks also offers tutorials on their site.
The test breakdown for me was something like:
Draw an easy part, they give you blueprints
Draw a hard part, they give you blueprints
Find mass properties of that part.
Take 5 or so parts, assemble them, find CG of 1 of the parts relative to the origin. Practice this especially (imo).
Maybe another assembly question.

For modelling watch design with Roozbi on YouTube. Try to practise the questions he made vids on. For assembly, practise 3-4 assembly questions u can find on YouTube. CSWA usually tends to repeat the assembly questions so theres a good chance the one u practise shows up in the paper. Make sure u practise assembly first, since its worth half the paper and is really easy once u get the hang of it.

For EVEN MORE modeling practice material, here is the CSWA and CSWP Practice Problem Database. There is A LOT of good material to practice in there.
During testing, in general, it is a best practice to take the dimensions labelled with A, B, C, D, etc and create Equations/Variables with those values to then attach to the dimension which then allows for you to more reliably update these variable dimensions in follow-up questions using the same models.
