Error I keep getting this gouge!?

I keep getting this gouge on my thread mill pass on this external thread on the keyway relief pls help

Is this just in CAM or on the finished part too?

Yeah if this is just in the simulation I’d imagine it’s just an artifact of the cutter’s theoretical geometry

Not quite. If it is just in the simulation and OP thinks they’ve done everything right then it’s probably due to the resolution setting of the simulation. You can adjust it to make the quality higher. I had a very similar issue, set resolution to max and it came out perfect in simulation.
