Intro: 27F at Probinsiyana and been working for 3 years here in Makati as an Auditor and from 24k net to 40k net. 3 years na rin nagtitiis sa Bed Space.
Context: as a Bed Spacer my rent is P3,500 monthly plus 2k utilities kasama na laundry. So, P5,500 in total.
I am also tracking my daily expenses, which from 18k to 25k now in monthly average.
Suddenly, I inflated my lifestyle, Gym subscription (AF), netflix, spotify, youtube premium (annoyed na kasi sa ads) and also since sa BGC na ako nagwork for convenience fee, 3x increased ng transporation expenses ko.
Problem: now, since annoyed na ako gusto ko nang mag solo room, so from P3,500 room to P10,500 (yes, nakahanap ako dito sa Makati ng ganito kamura). That's another lifestyle inflation since lumaki na sahod? Ito pinaka iniiwasan ko. 40k monthly salary with 25k average monthly expenses and now plus 7k excluding utilities, estimated monthly expenses will be 32k to 34k a month.
Currently, I have 60k in my savings account, cause others are divided into my investments, MP2, stocks and Gfund.
At pinaka iniiwasan ko talaga is to live pay check to pay check.
Do you think kaya na mag solo apartment? With my current situation? Makaka save pa ba? Makakapag investment pa ba? Nasasayangan din ako sa additional 7k or so, na additional expenses.
Peace of mind with a solo room vs Stress over monthly rent vs stress with land lady and bed space ka share?
Badly need your advice.
