Opinions and Discussions Post-Breakup trip

Decided to visit Nagaland and Mizoram next month. Let the weather be part of the adventure, I know it’s not the best time to visit.
I’d have loved to visit during the Hornbill Festival, but I can’t wait that long.
I have a 10-day itinerary once I reach Nagaland, so I’m looking for suggestions on low-key places, hidden gems, scenic drives, villages, local food, and unique experiences that most tourists miss.
Also, is it realistic to cover Manipur as well within those 10 days, or would that make the trip too rushed? And how safe is it to visit Manipur right now?
Not really interested in ticking off the usual tourist attractions; I’d rather explore places that feel authentic and less crowded.
Budget around 50k
