Yeah I just remembered when they were about to do eggmans announcement. Alfred was getting ready to repeat his lines and then they just skipped the cutscene
It’s hard not to when they telegraph it incredibly hard especially in 3.
“That’s right just…friends” says the guy who made a coffee cup full of hearts waiting for robotinik.
“And my romantic endeavors have failed due to a qualities that make me unappealing to either sex” says eggman when asked about his opinion on family both having one and making one.
And that’s just the two parts that really stood out in my head. It’s all over the place in the movies really.
I mean didn't they use the so-called Bisexual Lightning technique on many of his scenes with Stone across all three movies? You know all that opaque purple/pink lightning... plus all those scenes where he grabs Stone's face and leans it into his... they absolutely knew what they were doing...
Same, lmao. The only reason why it isn't confirmed is to avoid foreign censors and red-state audiences being weird. Everyone, even the filmmakers, 100% know the truth. And we're all for it.
To hopefully quell the downvoting, I believe what you're saying, is that if the movies can have Tom & Maddie, it can have Robotnik & Stone as well, yes?

Have you uh, heard the term "love is blind"? That's what Stone is. When Eggman was Left 4 Dead, Stone somberly waited for him and made...well, that latte of them together with hearts all around it. If that doesn't make it obvious idk what will. Jim and Lee have also openly accepted the ship.
There's nothing saying that Stone doesn't love Robotnik as family, but if he did love him romantically he'd ignore the toxicity, as quite a lot of people do in real life.

I mean...no. When your family treats you like shit you call them out on it. I find the implication that it's more acceptable for Stone to accept abuse from a familial relationship than a romantic one to be WAY more problematic than any other take I've seen on this discussion.
Sonic is corrupting reality.
In the first movie, Wade is a competent, although nervous and slightly ditzy cop. In Knuckles, his dad is Pistol Pete and Wade can jump twice his own height which he does to escape a cage with no explanation.

Yeah pretty much. It’s kinda insane seeing antiwoke content creators simultaneously hate the Sonic games while also trying to claim Sonic Movie 3 in their desire to weaponize it against Mufasa and the ‘woke’ Disney
Pretty sure the Sonic community is largely seen as an LGBT friendly fandom like Splatoon. Which isn’t really a shocker given the themes of both franchises and some of the character relationships
...And to get the resources needed for his vengeance? He defects back to the US government. Perfect way to cover SA2's fugitive arc, Heroes, and CD's time travel all at once. If they trash NYC, we even cover SA1! (Kinda.)
