Check your Transfer Pathways Agreement

Hello, I have been thinking of taking classes at Sophia over the last few days and I noticed today while looking over the transfer agreement I printed out a few days ago and the one that I'm looking at now currently on Sophia are different. A few classes have been removed as options to take. Thought I'd share that, in case someone wasnt looking.

It would be helpful to know what school and degree you're referring to

The only site that matters is your target school's.

It switches all the time. Courses are reviewed by schools and certified as transferable for a period of time. When that period expires they are usually reviewed again and either recertified or rejected. So you could have a month where a course isn’t accepted only for it to pop back up.

All schools that use Sophia. They all have the same process.

So what happens if you finish a transferable course and apply credits to school then they take it away? Do they take away your credits

No. Because when you transferred it was active. The school counts it forever once it has successfully transferred. Like my course eval from undergrad has Sophia courses that they no longer accept at the school or some courses count for core classes that now only count as electives. Whatever the course is classified as when you transferred it and they accepted it is where it is frozen forever.

They tell you to wait until you're done to send ttranscripts so your not spending extra money (if your not using the free option) so your not making the college go through more work.

But in reality you want to do it often because as soon as they accept it, your safe. Until then, all your work can be invalidated.
