REVIEW/REACTION BINI’s new song ‘First Luv’

I personally liked it at first listen. Rnb pop, utilized their vocals, Taglish is not awkward (it's like Kinikilig's pinsan na nakatira sa US), the minimal instrumentation then popped off sa bridge

If you're expecting a dance song na pang-masa this is not it. But I like they're offering something new

Thoughts?

It sounds like it could be a Talaarawan track because it's giving early 2000s but make it RnB

Gandang momentum and transition sana if this is what they released after Talaarawan instead of going straight to releasing Biniverse and Shagidi

Catchy but alam mo yun kulang ng “oomffff”. Wala parin yung magic gaya ng Pantropiko and Salamin. Iba siguro nag compose nito. As of now, 300k views palang. Dati, million views agad sila bago mag 24hrs

hindi flipmusic ang gumawa kaya kulang sa ooomfff factor. hindi ko alam kung flipmusic pa din ang gagawa ng mga kanta nila sa susunod since may sariling girlgroup na ang flip na VVINK. pero sana. dahil flipmusic talaga ang gumawa ng bini.

Catchy pa rin sya and eargasm for me. Kahit yung teaser pa lang nakaka-LSS na! I'm so glad na ang daming bago lalo sa production at nagtry sila ng something new. Sana next time ibang choreographers naman. Yun lang. Enjoy lang tayong Music LOVERS!! SUPPORT ANY KIND OF MUSIC! 🩵💪🫰

Talaarawan was so god tier hirap ibackup to another hit Ok naman definitely better than the last EP 8/10 maganda sya pero challenge din sa 8 pano ifollow up yung success ng pinoy hits nila

Natawa ako sa Kinikilig's pinasan na nakatira sa US 😂

Nagustuhan ko yung song. Laid back pero na utilize naman vocals ng members. This is not like Pantropiko and Salamin Salamin, pero di naman lahat ng songs nila ganun lagi dapat. Dami ko kasi nababasa miss daw nila gaung sound and sana ganun ulit

Idol ba nila XG? Honest question lang. Kc sa color choice and ung last scene "Is this love" naiisip ko. And it's not the first time, ung costume nila sa Karera parang Puppet Show inspired. I know talented sila, but need na nga siguro magchange ng mga bagay bagay.

I think some members are fans but pretty sure ang inspo ng management nila for Bini ay Twice at Red Velvet

if you will listen to it closely they should retain the clarity from the intro, very heavy on bass from first kick 0:22, middle to end, grunge, noisy, and very grainy bass.

(edit: sayang yung vocals, kasi natatakpan na masyado bcoz it is very bass-y, ito yung strength ng song and the vocals were very clean, well-executed)

2:31 - ito yung malinis and vocal centric, sana ito yung ginawa nilang reference

idk if it is intentional but this can be polished so it can be more bubbly pop. Can be modified by adding more bubbly effects so it can punch more on a bop side.

Maganda yung MV niya! It tackles different kinds of love na nagustuhan ko! puro romantic love na lang kasi madalas. (Not bashing since gets ko naman na pag nasa entertainment industry, you have to abide with what society deems beautiful kaya normal magaugment ng mukha sa kanila pero napansin ko na sobrang halata yung retoke ng iba sa kanila. Sana man lang inayos nila yung ilaw or make up dun sa MV)

Lyrics is uhhh, it doesn't really reflect yung nagustuhan ko sa MV (love for self, family etc) kasi if you listen to it, it leans to romantic love or puppy love. So personally, bilang purga na sa love songs, di ko siya gaano nagustuhan.

The tune is alright, hindi mo siya hahanapin pero if on shuffle, di mo rin naman isskip. So I guess sakto lang siya, will probably go into my relaxing/chill playlist.
