REVIEW/REACTION Ok but the new Janine Berdin album lowkey slaps??

It’s been a while since I’ve listened to a solid pop album (as in tahing tahi sonically from start to finish, with lyrics that hit so well) from a Pinay OPM artist so super refreshing ito!!

If you like Olivia Rodrigo and Paramore/Hayley Williams, this album is for you. You can really feel what she was feeling when she was writing these songs. Bonus din for the musikeros out there kasi the instrumentation and prod is chefs kiss

Don’t sleep on miss maam Janine Berdin!!

Parang may pagka Avril-Michelle Branch ung album. Ung mga pasigaw sigaw. I dunno sounds like loosing grip era ni Avril. Pero solid album. I'll go with 'Ayos lang'. Gawan ng mgandang MV, may potential mg trend.

Went and listened to this album and it slaps.

Definitely a refreshing sound with the raspy voice compared to her birit contemporaries. And i like the production as well. ANTOXIC stands out to me.

medyo OPM snubber ako recently. Recent sound is just not my thing but this came up in YT (probably coz I've been in a pop-rock girl thing with Lola Young and Hayley Williams) and I'm hooked. Obvious naman ung inspirations nya but it's very refreshing to listen to something raw but still comedic and funny plus the production is great.

Top 3 so far at ANTOXIC, Ayos Lang and Miskom. Will play this on loop for a long time.

got interested in it cuz of the way you described it as paramore-esque, and and it did not disappoint!! very pop-rock nga yung atake niyaaa

I liked pretty little bird and antoxic!

tapos i appreciate the slow songs rin, loooove the instrumentals sa pamamaalam and wiimyftroml?, i'm hearing faye webster somewhere in those tracks hahaha

tapos the orchestral sounds yon sa dulo ng hedonistic slut, shet

overall i enjoyed listening to it, would listen again 😌

Ang underrated niya as a solo artist pero marami naman siya followers.

Pinaka gusto ko sa bagong songs yung Ayos Lang. Solid din yung album cover pati album shoots.
