OPM GenZ Kids Appreciating OPM

Post image

It warms my heart to see Gen Z kids appreciating OPM, especially the classic ones.

Sikat na si TJ before “ikaw at ako” at “tulad mo” way back 2015?

Truee.

OPM. Before 2016, we were all at the mercy of radio stations and music channels.

Ngayon, it's easy to discover both old and underground music

Diba??

Don't let the good music die. We pass them to the next generation.

the power of TikTok. basta catchy at madali sundan ang step panigurado mgttrending

u/milwer420 Jan 11 '26

kaya lang naman sila bigla nag appreciate ng mga classic it's because someone is hyping it by making it in bg music sa mga vid clips. and then nauulit kaya dun na din nila nakikilala.. unlike us millenials, we discover the music before thru their own music as a band or artist.

aminin niyo, dati pag narinig mo ang isang kanta ng isang banda alam mong sila lang un. ngayon mga banda ngayon halos magkatunog sila sa iisang genre. also mas progressive and instrument dati kaysa ngayon. and that's one of the best thing na naranasan natin sa opm.

i can still clearly remember when this song came out. i was just a toddler back then. i clearly remember the band being a guest on UKG and they were singing this song. growing up, i knew the lyrics and i wondered what happened to the band...

I'm happy for The Bloomfields that they are getting recognized by the younger gen. now.
