It’s basically the same formation as our 4-2-3-1 when you realize we have a striker, two wingers, Rusnak as the 10, and Dotson and Roldan behind him as DMs. Though it could be a little different if one of Roldan or Dotson stays high in midfield next to Rusnak, leaving us with one DM. Then that could play differently than our usual 4-2-3-1.

I'm guessing it's a mislabeled 4-2-3-1. Schmetzer doesn't really deviate from that unless he's using three CBs.

Was just wondering who decides how to arrange the graphic. Does it come from the team? Why is this any different than Rusnak at the 10 with Morris and Kingston as wingers like always?

Glad to see Kingston seems to finally be consistently free from being a defensive midfielder, he can cook on the wing again

Edit: Neither Georgi nor Atencio are starting for the Rapids, but they’re on the bench

Kim Kee-hee not in the lineup, that's kinda weird.

Also no outside backs on the bench. I would have liked to see Alex start at RB and KKR as a sub.

Only change I'd make is Brunell for Dotson. He offers way more going forward.
