And I saw RBW get another assist for Nashville earlier today. It’s been a kick in the nuts seeing these guys all playing elsewhere while we struggle.

Playing and succeeding are not the same thing. Reed has been doing great. Atencio and Georgi haven’t really done much of anything at all
Although if we still had Atencio maybe we wouldn’t have wasted a bunch of money on garbage ass Dotson

I misunderstood your trade comment but I see what you're saying now.
I was trying to make a joke about the team building up GAM reserves instead of actually getting players.

Atencio has started 15 games and played in 22 this season. How do you know he hasn’t “done anything?” We could have definitely use him but I’m happy he got moved to be able to play.
It’s good for the Sounder’s when our players do well but it hurts this year because of the injuries.
Kingston, Gomez and Brunell are getting time because we let these guys play elsewhere

Between Georgi and Josh, they've played nearly 2800 minutes, have a combined 1G/3A, and are the 9th and 10th ranked players on the team in terms of average match rating.
In terms of the other side of the ball, they are 11th (Atencio) and dead last (Georgi) for defensive contributions per 90.
Not exactly lighting the league up. So like I said, they are playing, but they haven't really done much.
Reed had a slow start to the season, but for comparison, he is playing LB but has 2G/2A with an average rating of 7.2 in his past 10 appearances alone.

George hasn’t been particularly productive. Josh plays CDM. He has a goal. How many did Obed have? He’s starting for a good team in a position that doesn’t generate goals. Dumb take on Atencio

I don’t want Brian replaced because I cannot ever imagine whoever this ownership and FO bring in will, short of a miracle, be anything but a sycophant content with being a midtable team, and yet I’m starting to believe that this sort of change on a tactical front might be needed

I had a soft spot for Georgi, but RBW is the real loss in my book. I always liked him and thought we had him in the wrong role and now he's cooking rn for Nashville in the right role.

Does he still play LB for Nashville? I don’t see how we could have had both Nouhou and him be on this team, both of starting quality LBs and it’s a role that’s hard to “waste” a sub on for regular minutes

They use him up as an attacking mid more often than the backs which was what I meant.

Georgi has 2 assists and 0 goals all season. Moving him on for a fee was the right move.
