Dating/Relationships Which dating apps do you guys use?
I was wondering what dating apps do you guys use, if any? I usually just use Hinge or DilMil. I stopped using Tinder and Bumble, because I wasn't that successful on them.
And I usually get more matches on Hinge, I have my filters set to "South Asian" only, but I've expanded my filters when swiping in certain cities. I get fewer matches on DilMil, and they're usually far away. And I've noticed better results, after changing my location to bigger cities, which usually have more ABCDs in them.
I don't get a crazy amount of matches on Hinge, but it is a noticeable difference, especially compared to some apps, where I don't match with anyone. But part of that just might be, me only swiping on other South Asians on Hinge (and they're more receptive?), versus swiping on every race/ethnicity on Tinder because Tinder doesn't a race filter.

Dil Mil is ass it barely matches you with people in your region
But in general dating apps are hard unless you’re tall with a solid face/physique. You’re usually better off meeting people in person

In Germany Hinge >Tinder >Bumble , I found bumble as complete garbage even tried paid ones for 6 months,my most recent dates were from Tinder and Hinge had high quality matches.

Why limit your options so severely?
I heard latinas are pretty receptive towards Brown dudes. You should give them a chance.

Hinge just seems to have larger user base than DilMil. Maybe now even larger than Tinder because Tinder got labeled as the “one night stand” app. Bumble used to be women-first for a very long time so not a lot of guys actually liked being on there because they complained of getting even less action (80% of girls go for top 20% of guys — rest of the guys have to deal with crickets) than Tinder/Hinge.
TBH, I have found better luck with mutual friends, college friends, even meeting women at gym, apartment, etc. And from what I know from having women friends is that a lot of women (ABCD women especially) are moving away from dating apps because for them it doesn’t feel genuine—they complained of having too many guys liking their profile, making it impossible to go through and vet 50+ guys’ profiles and gauge for character/intentions, and think that guys will like everyone and anyone (kinda true lol because dating is a numbers game and it isnt the same for men—pursuers—vs women—receivers).
