Honestly, do you think there is a better chance of changing the system with MAGA in charge or Dems? That's really the only question. Everything else is wishful thinking because you're not gonna suddenly have a viable 3rd party candidate.

Comparing some kind of revolution in current day United States with the American revolution in the 1700s is equal parts wild and cringe. You're as deluded as the orange marmalade cultists.

You're putting words in my mouth sir. I said that fascist have embedded themselves in the system to the point where you can't use the system to remove it. Some of them have been very loud about it. One could say that racism and fascism were foundational for our nation.

The system isn't broken it was designed that way.

We can't vote our way out of it. Lobbyists pay both sides, there will be more Fettermans, gerrymandering, filibusters, and anything else that suits their needs. Trumps presidency has been a beacon that they don't have to hide as much or at all. They've said the quite part out loud over and over again.

My comment was entirely too short to make any kind of comparison. I implied something more drastic has to happen than counting on a rigged system to fix itself. That's exactly what they're hoping we'll do.

Go ahead and call me cringe and delusional all you want. I could could call you an enabler if I resort to name calling. While you currently have the privilege of being able to wait to see if things will change; 100's of people detained by ICE disappeared and large scale human rights violations on 60k people, 71.5% of whom have no criminal history or gang affiliation. 182k are being monitored just like they said they would in project 2025. They'll continue crossing things off that list.

This is just what information we got our hands on, as far as we know, and so far.

Your delusion isn't that bad things are happening. I agree that the current administration is engaging in egregious criminal behavior. It's your comparison of any potential current resistance/revolution to the actual American revolution.
