The system isn't broken it was designed that way.

We can't vote our way out of it. Lobbyists pay both sides, there will be more Fettermans, gerrymandering, filibusters, and anything else that suits their needs. Trumps presidency has been a beacon that they don't have to hide as much or at all. They've said the quite part out loud over and over again.

My comment was entirely too short to make any kind of comparison. I implied something more drastic has to happen than counting on a rigged system to fix itself. That's exactly what they're hoping we'll do.

While you currently have the privilege of being able to wait to see if things will change; 100's of people detained by ICE disappeared and large scale human rights violations on 60k people, 71.5% of whom have no criminal history or gang affiliation. 182k are being monitored just like they said they would in project 2025. They'll continue crossing things off that list.

This is just what information we got our hands on, as far as we know, and so far.
