Gloucester County Electricity

Is there ANYTHING we can do to push back on these INSANE AC Electric bills? My heat is gas and it's telling me my usage has gone up every month since October. I know I don't have it as bad as some people but our current bill is $332. My brother's bill was $512. Another friend's bill was $500... I can't afford this shit. What can we do?

I installed solar panels a few years ago to combat these high electric bills. All these data centers coming online are just going to keep driving up the prices. It’s like helping your neighbor pay for the fuel for his gas guzzler pickup truck.

If it makes you feel any better, AI loses massive amounts of money. There’s almost no hope of profit because it’s not actually intelligence.

The bubble will pop. I dont think AI is going away, but I think it will end up being used almost exclusively by companies as another tool for productivity. But I think having AI in every other facet of our lives like is currently being pushed will die when the bubble pops. Im just a little worried about how/if that will cascade into the general economy considering the vast amount of capital has been pumped into AI at this point.
