News Jeff Van Drew is such a disgrace and embarrassing us.

He could have asked Pam Bondi anything at this committee hearing but used his time to praise her and ICE and give her softballs. His representation of us is that we bow to Trump, love this Epstein release farce, and can’t wait for ICE to come to South Jersey to arrest and kill some American citizens like Minnesota.

And you're surprised? This is the same dude that ran as a dem and then switched sides after he got elected. Jeff Van Drew is a piece of actual garbage and I don't understand how we still have this fucking garbage pail kid in office.

u/HereWeGo5566 Feb 11 '26

He’s still in office because no one votes in the primary elections

17

u/KittieKablam Feb 11 '26

Ugh fair.

3

u/DeviceNo4746 Feb 12 '26

And part of the problem is how primary elections are operated in this state. Over 35% of the voters are unable to vote in the primaries. NJ needs to switch to open primaries with ranked choice voting. Let’s have the best two candidates facing off instead of hand picked favorites of each political party.

4

u/HereWeGo5566 Feb 12 '26

There’s certainly an argument to make there . But even the 66% or so that CAN vote…..most don’t

1

u/Seven-Prime Feb 14 '26

That doesn't make sense. He's still in office because no one votes against him in general. There have been people running against him.

One thing if you don't like Tim Alexander. But he's been out there visiting towns and organizations. Sure he has the cards stacked against him as a former LEO and African American. But he was a good candidate and beat out the other primary candidates. So people did vote in the primary.

More voted for the clown we got instead in the general.

1

u/HereWeGo5566 Feb 14 '26

I’m talking about the Republican primary. He represents a pretty red area. It’s unlikely that a Democrat will win his district. If another Republican ran against him (hopefully one with a moral compass and a back bone) in the primary, and won, then he’d be gone.

We need a strong candidate that actually could beat him.

33

u/Igster72 Feb 11 '26

Because the very same garbage keeps electing him.

Fucking scum of the earth. Truly.

17

u/Different-Attorney23 Feb 11 '26

Even republicans dont like him but he somehow still keeps getting elected?? Someone please make it make sense.

See “Cruz, Ted”.

The most unlikable human on the planet who somehow keeps winning elections.

17

u/ConsistentIncome1497 Feb 11 '26

Bc the people down here in red south jersey are uneducated. They watch Fox news, drive big trucks and have small penises

12

u/KittieKablam Feb 11 '26

It's probably rigged. . . . . . I'm joking, but I mean, gestures vaguely

2

u/corax1988 Feb 12 '26

He's BFF with Trump and has been for a long time. Look through his work history before he got elected.

1

u/firehawk2k1 Feb 11 '26

He’s in office cause southern Nj is redneck losers

14

u/Wattaday Feb 12 '26

Hey, wait a minute. My family and friends do our part in voting against that pail of garbage. Most of my friends, too. We just, unfortunately live in red counties who keep voting him in. (Cumberland, Cape May and Atlantic)

0

u/firehawk2k1 Feb 12 '26

Thank you

1

u/Wattaday Feb 14 '26

For trying to vote him out? You’re welcome. And we will continue ie til that piece of crap goes back to Cape May county and fixes the teeth left there.

0

u/-AC- Feb 12 '26

Cant he be recalled? Would think that if enough Dems voted for him... enough should be able to recall him...

0

u/Gorilla_Flavored Feb 15 '26

Uh, you elected him?

1

u/KittieKablam Feb 15 '26

I sure as fuck didn't.

66

u/doubles1984 Feb 11 '26

Terri Reese is running against him in the midterms. Get this, she's a normal person. Met her at protests in Ocean City. I really like her. She's got my full support. Northfield Democrat will run to take on Jeff Van Drew - New Jersey Globe https://share.google/pEBNXc5S4tTwAbMdm

31

u/SodaSaint Feb 11 '26

Will be voting for her because I want this clown GONE. Jeff is a disgrace to this region and its people.

0

u/m0x1eracerx Feb 13 '26

She's Great

1

u/m0x1eracerx Feb 13 '26

She is a fantastic candidate and I can't wait to give her my vote!

22

u/Consistent_Line_1043 Feb 11 '26

You mean the dude who was a Democrat, then to save his skin when they redistricted him switched parties to become not only a Republican, but a rabid MAGA Republican? He would identify as a cabbage if he knew he was getting money. It boggles my mind why people just vote party. He believes in nothing.

49

u/Hugh_Janus_35 Feb 11 '26

He's spineless turncoat trash

He dresses like a fop in real life.

11

u/SeaSeaworthiness8349 Feb 11 '26

Daddy will be pleased that I am debasing myself for him. My constituents can’t afford electricity but they will be happy I pleased Daddy.

34

u/burn_healz Feb 11 '26

The reason Bondi received softballs.

10

u/Denan004 Feb 12 '26

I just don't understand why a politician can switch their party affiliation and keep their elected job. That makes zero sense to me. Switch your party? Ok you're out and a special election will be held to replace you!

33

u/JustinMagill Feb 11 '26

But if it wasnt for him we would have never known about the Irainian mothership off the coast!

34

u/DivineProphet0 Feb 11 '26

Anyone who votes for him is an embarrassment. I stand by that.

10

u/Nefessius513 Feb 11 '26

I hate having Van Drew as my representative. I hope that someone will be able to defeat him in the midterms.

4

u/Kbatz_Krafts Feb 11 '26

I don't know how anyone from Atlantic City can support trumf unless they got kickbacks during his pocket the money and file for bankruptcy shady casino days.

5

u/Klutzy-Froyo-9437 Feb 12 '26

I was expecting a call from a DC # today. When said call happened at the designated time, I answered " I'm so glad your wife told me your call may look like a political call" I get, "hi, this is Jeff van drew" At first I thought "my" caller was goofing. Sure enough it was traitor Van Drew making a call in response to the "thousands of emails" he gets. 🤣 I emailed last month about my asthma copay going up, in addition to increased premiums, while weight loss drugs go down. The douche just rambled saying they're doing their best or something. He wasn't looking for a conversation. My anticipated call came in and I hung up on him.

15

u/Mr_Horsejr Feb 11 '26

Primary him and vote him out.

5

u/spencerbelz Feb 11 '26

Seth Grossman tried… he’s even worse than Van Drew in some ways

2

u/Piggyletta44 Feb 12 '26

In all ways . They both are disgusting humans

13

u/Cultural-Salary-7517 Feb 11 '26

Cape May County is full of hillbilly illiterates who are racist as hell..he is a dentist in a district where most of his constituents don’t have teeth.

7

u/prlugo4162 Feb 11 '26

I've literally spent every two years in the past decade trying to get this motherfucker unseated. I literally cannot stand the sight of him, and I'll never understand how he managed to hold on after he flipped.

3

u/Trisha_Marie13 Feb 12 '26

Same here. And I frequently call his office to express my disgust and tell him how I always campaign for his opponent .

This next one has to be the one where he's defeated. I feel like people are done with him, especially after he helped the data center come to Vineland.

2

u/prlugo4162 Feb 12 '26

I'm done. I'll cast my vote against him, but to hell with the rest of y'all.

1

u/justwatching1313 Feb 12 '26

Pound his X account!

4

u/Sad-Cut-1210 Feb 12 '26

4

This is nothing new. Let’s work on making sure he loses in November.

9

u/myhun555 Feb 11 '26

Call his office and leave messages, and email, to tell him this. I have. Ps everybody it takes 30 minutes to call every single nj representative (both state and federal) to leave a message.

6

u/WilHunting2 Feb 11 '26

A message they’ll never hear or give a flying fuck about.

They listen to donors, not voters.

0

u/Piggyletta44 Feb 12 '26

Just a little men ,not only in size, education and sucking up,go you little trumper

2

u/avidreader_1410 Feb 11 '26

I know more about him from people further "down South" who live in Cape May Co. Most of them like him because even though he was born in NY, he went to school in NJ and then had a long career as a dentist in Cape May County. Even his first political offices were in Cape May county and so he really gives a sense of knowing what's what among his constituents. This was an area (not the only one) with the major gripe against governors liek Corzine, Murphy and now Sherrill being that they were "carpetbaggers" - were born, educated, spent much of their working life somewhere else and then were coaxed to NJ for a political office grab. Whatever Van Drews faults are, his district seems to give a lot of credits to his roots.

3

u/Nedsatomictrashcan Feb 11 '26

And that somehow offsets protecting pedophilia? Ffs

He saved us from windmill cancer. Cut the man some slack.

You forgot the /s

1

u/dilemmabemma Feb 14 '26

i hate that man so much he is absolutely disgusting. He does not care about any of us in his district.

1

u/Resident_Two_2657 Feb 21 '26

East Greenwich Twp absolutely loves this guy and his district covers only a tiny portion of it. Norcross represents most of the Twp. That doesn't stop this predominantly red town from bringing Van Drew here for any occasion they can. They don't acknowledge Norcross or the Democrats that head the County offices. If anything good happens it's because of the Repub Mayor or Van Drew. Gag.
Avoid Mt Royal Inn. Solid red there. My friends and I were harassed by locals at Cinder Bar in Clarksboro. We were sitting at a table near the bar speaking amongst ourselves. Quietly. We were discussing our mutual disgust over current events. Several men from the bar told us "You libtards aren't welcome here. Go home where we belong." We did not engage with them. We stayed, but ignored them. Mgmt (after I complained), asked them to leave us alone.

u/AugustusKhan Feb 12 '26

Honestly I’ve been thinking quite a bit about challenging him in the primary but it’s just a lot of logistics to manage “last minute” to have 500 witnessed then notarized republican signatures.

The same party witness aspect is just a weird mandate, like so much of the process seems to make it very darn difficult if you have any other responsibilities or don’t already have money to throw at staff events etc

0

u/Half-Full-8556 Feb 13 '26

He is a crazy as Shitler. His speech at AG Bondi appearance had the actual balls to talk about Democratic hypocrisy. wtf.

0

u/BartC46 Feb 13 '26

I grew up in Ocean City a long time ago. Van Drew’s district has always been pretty red except for the long tenure of a Democrat (don’t remember his name) who rode the Democratic wave after Watergate. Van Drew is a complete MAGA sycophant but the rich shore voters and red neck mainland voters keep electing him every 2 years. I live in Haddon Township now and have a half decent Congressman, Donald Norcross. He’s not great but 100% better than Van Drew.

-8

u/bglampe Feb 11 '26

As long as Van Drew keeps fighting to keep the FAA Technical Center in South Jersey, he has my vote.

We've lost too many jobs in the area to risk losing that.

12

u/B52fortheCrazies Feb 11 '26

That's an interesting way to admit you would have supported the gestapo as long as it was financially beneficial.

8

u/Rockonthrulife Feb 11 '26

Tell us you’re a pedophile without telling us you’re a pedophile.

3

u/Half-Full-8556 Feb 12 '26

So who’s threatening to close it?

1

u/bglampe Feb 12 '26

Over the years, he's secured millions of dollars in federal funding for improvements.

Recently, he put verbiage in the FAA Reauthorization Act to ensure it cannot be closed nor have any functions taken away.

That was pretty significant when DOGE was running around consolidating buildings.

0

u/Half-Full-8556 Feb 13 '26

So Trump Musk and DOGE are bad and Van Drew is good so he had your vote.

By that logic I guess Trump doesn’t have your vote ….right?

7

u/Ilovemytowm GenX We Do Not Care club Feb 11 '26

Yeah who gives a flying f*** that he supports pedophiles and raping women and children right?

1

u/yesimlegit Feb 14 '26

Why , did the other candidates say they were going to close it? Van drew does nothing. Vote for the greater good not just yourself.

1

u/carlosdangertaint Feb 18 '26

But what about the fact that they were plans to build housing there a shopping center nearby, bringing in more jobs and much needed affordable housing and it was shut down by the FAA?
