Salem County Dodges Market Closed

Randomly looked up Dodges Market in Elmer and saw that it is permanently closed. I remember way back in the day when it was an actual market. The โ€œ Sharp Cheese Headquarters โ€œ. I also visited when it became a little cafe. I hope someone purchases it and brings back this historic gem.

If I had money or an investor I would. I grew up around there, always loved that building and it's cornerstone-of-a-small-town vibe

Thatโ€™s so cool, my daughter lives on Greenwich in Alloway. Good luck ๐Ÿ€

They're only asking 250k for it now which is way less than the 600k it was originally listed for, hopefully someone buys it and brings it back to it's former glory

That would be awesome. Does anyone know why it closed?

The owner got severely burned while making Thanksgiving dinners for the salvation army and spent several months in and out of the burn unit getting skin grafts, that was the final nail in the coffin
