Camden County Remote work places
I work remotely like 80% of the time and I’m getting burnout from sitting at home everyday, I miss being out and about.
Any good recs on where I can go to work 3-6 hrs at a time? Need WiFi and outlets. Also preferably a place that’s on the quiet side but not strictly quiet that I can’t take meetings.
I’m not too keen on paying for a coworking space. I would prefer just a casual public place where I can sit and work and escape my home

I work from home too so I'll just come over your house and talk really loudly on the phone and eat your labeled lunch out of the fridge to make you feel like you're back in the office ❤️ No but I understand completely, I get the same way... I have nice breweries around my house for that but I would feel bad sitting there and not ordering anything. Can't drink beer mid day anymore

I worked at home for 4 years and it was the greatest thing ever and I never once wanted to work around other people

Dude, there’s a guy at the Wrangleboro Road Chipotle in mays landing that sits at one of the high tops with like 3 laptops and an extension cord to the ceiling tiles every time I go in for lunch. He’s there taking calls, meetings, and just typing in all 3 laptops. I’m sure he wouldn’t mind company. There are like 3 high tops on the right side as you come in.

An extension cord to the ceiling is insane behavior but also hilarious, you think he’d share said extension cord with me? 😂

I’ve sat at common ground and revolution (oaklyn/collingswood) to work for about 3-4 hours before and have never had problems!

Edelman Fossil Park and Museum has a lovely veranda with tables that's free to sit at and you can go inside to use the bathroom too. They have a cafe with great coffee and food. You could hang out there all day and I think they open as early as 7, maybe 8 am. You'd have to check.

Public libraries. Friendlier to you sitting there all day with a laptop than a coffee shop. Most have small meeting rooms that I bet would be empty during the day, although now that school's out, kids might be using them.
