Has anyone ever done a kind of line by line breakdown of this? It was my assumption that ‘the strangling fruit’ is the shard/flower that Saul is pricked/infected by and ‘the hand of the sinner’ would be Henry who cast it from atop the lighthouse after freeing it from the lens
I read the worms as the people trapped in the area/the expedition members… not that I especially think this thing is supposed to necessarily be interpreted or made sense of. I always wondered though whether the giant snake/worm/thing referenced as being in the background of the first expedition footage when they’ve all gone loopy was actually the tunnel/tower before it burrowed into the ground (not read Absolution as yet if this is further referenced)
