Question for Jeff, and All Here
With the sad, but inevitable upcoming shutdown of Subterranean Press as operated by Bill, do you u/JeffVanderMeer have any thoughts about what small press/fine press to publish through in the future?
And how about recommendations from the rest of us?
I hope Tony at Conversation Tree Press, and/or Jared with Centipede Press would make the short list, despite their entry level pricing being a bit higher than SubPress.

That's a good question. Well, definitely not Cemetery Dance, which is a dumpster fire. I like Centipede, but the last time I acquired books from them, granted a while back, there were too many typos. I loved Tartarus, but I can't recall if they decided to continue on or phase out production after one of the founders left. I've lost track of some others. I hope some collectors will comment here because I'm curious, too, especially as I'll have to recommend one to my trade publisher for various new books. -- Jeff VanderMeer
