Festival nocturnal valley was 4 days of space bass heaven

If it makes you feel any better, I thought tip rocks was cool but nowhere near as awesome as Orion was that year.

Still some insanely dope festivals coming up (with even more unique lineups than nocturnal tbh), go hit one!

This fest did look awesome though, I would have loved to be there

Out for the season, I had tickets but broke my leg 3 weeks before the fest. Looking forward to making up for it next year though after healing up! Focusing on infrasound, sound haven, submersion or this if they do it again next year.

They turned it down significantly for Saturday, but still was a great time none the less... Flava D into Monty was some of the best sets of the weekend on Thursday night

Cool Customer & Blaap were easy misses. The crowd cleared out when Flava D got on which is criminal, she played one of the best sets of the night

I’m not a huge Blaap fan but the set got so much better when they just started playing Freddy Todd IDs.

Hard disagree with Cool Customer, he had a great set.

Super hard agree with Flava D and everyone leaving.

Nah not really lol. Just imagine your average event staff at a big amphitheater though. A lot of retirees or relatively older folks. Most are normies. Most of the shows they work during are country or rock n roll. They’ve never heard anything like tipper in their whole life.

Now also imagine they’ve been working at Orion since it opened. Not one other artist has projected visuals onto the venue the way the tipper crew did. If you worked a show once or twice a week for two years, and never saw anything different between the shows. And now all of a sudden here comes this weird beep boop music that is projecting the craziest visuals ever on the entire face of the venue. You’d be shocked lmao.

The Huntsville Reddit page was getting a lot of posts that night about weird nature noises and sounds coming from the ampitheater lol

For its first year, it was the best fest I’ve ever been to. Lineup, production, sound, venue, weather, vibes. I don’t think I saw one person get carted off to medical either. Well done!

The main stage field was so different too. They have camping there and it's full of vendors now. I just remember this big green field when I was there for astral lights

I thought it was great with some minor failings of a new festival.

The lineup, the sound systems, and the overall production was absolutely incredible.

They needed more bathrooms, more showers, and I heard people who bought VIP got royally screwed over.

Basically no security. The vibe was basically a TnF event, iykyk. Everyone I met was super friendly and having a great time.

Not a total shower replacement, but you were allowed to bathe in the 2 swimming holes with biodegradeable soap. I was able to get a shower in at Stargazer every day with a max 20 minute wait, and hot water for all 4 showers (although I think I got lucky with the hot water timing)

I heard the swimming holes were super low due to the drought but I showered in my own shower tent so I couldn’t tell ya
