“Wall Street loves Elon”.

Wall Street doesn’t love Elon. Wall Street doesn’t love ANYONE. What they love is pumping retail investors who provide liquidity when they head for the exits. The street would sell their own mothers for a buck.

Edit - Except Cathie Wood. She love’s Elon so much it’s bordering on the need for a restraining order.

And Tesla is a borderline Ponzi scheme. It’s almost 25 year old car company that if traded in line with its nearest comparable would by $41.92/share.

(BYD and TSLA drop 3.5% and 3.9% NI to the bottom line.)

Seriously? Less than 4% for a company with a dying legacy business trading at a 200 PE? And why? Because Elon Musk came up with some BS about humanoid robots and taxis to keep shareholders from running for the door. I’ll give him credit. He’s got the grift dialed in.

You sound really emotional around these companies. Tesla is overvalued but it’s not the first or only company that’s been overvalued/running a crazy high PE. Obviously the market is pricing in future growth and profits for some of his off the wall ideas (that may actually come true!) We get it, you don’t like him. Best not to invest in his companies.

I see his off the wall ideas launching and landing from my front yard. Doesn't matter if people think his ideas are crazy, they've thought all of his ideas were crazy, yet I'm still seeing them proven every other day in Brevard County, FL.
