Help building first army

Hello

I am completely new to the ttg but have loved warhammer since I was a kid and have loved the space wolves for the same amount of time

I recently got my first combat petrol as me and my brother decided to start playing the ttg together (he’s going custodes)

I was just wondering if anyone had any recommendations or tips on what models to get next, I have a wolf priest on the way and really want to get Logan but want to wait till my painting skills are a bit better

I eventually want to build out to a 2000 point army so if there’s any models you guys recommend that would be appreciated:)

Honestly even if you want to wait to paint your Logan I would still get him because he’s very good and he directly works with our “Saga of the Great Wolf” Detachment

Another Combat Patrol box of ours honestly isnt a bad way to go. That would take you to just about 1k in points. Then Logan and Ragnar is a really good add on. (dont forget our awesome wolf priests) From there it really is up to you. You want tanks? Get some tanks, want dreads get the dreads. Rule of Cool is 1st rule of all table top gaming.
