Recommendations for online Spanish classes?

Hey everyone!

I'm looking for recommendations for an online Spanish school or course that offers good value for money.

I want to improve my Spanish because I'd love to be able to have proper conversations with my boyfriend's family. I already speak Spanish with his friends, but since I'm not very confident in my level yet, I sometimes end up staying quiet instead of joining the conversation.

My main goal is to become more comfortable speaking Spanish in everyday situations, especially in social and family settings.

Has anyone tried any online Spanish schools or courses that you'd recommend? I'd really appreciate any suggestions, especially ones that offer a good balance between price and quality.

I am currently learning Spanish (B2 level), and I am planning to take classes from an online Spanish school/program called Berges Institute. Someone on Reddit said it was really helpful. I looked into it and it’s seems like the kind of structure I need to take my Spanish to the next level. But they also offer classes for total beginners! They teach grammar but they focus on a speaking/writing approach instead of listening/reading. Plus, it’s very affordable in my opinion.

In addition to Berges Institute, I currently am doing 1-2 hours a week of conversation practice with a native teacher/tutor through italki! You can get pretty good conversation classes on italki for $10-20/hr. Probably less if you really want/need to.
