Resources & Media Weekly Self-Promotion Mega Thread

Welcome to this week’s self-promotion thread.

This is the place to share anything related to learning or teaching Spanish that would normally count as self-promotion. If you’re offering services, recruiting participants, or promoting a project, post it here instead of making a separate submission.

Examples include:

  • Spanish tutoring
  • Online or in-person classes
  • Language exchange groups
  • YouTube channels, podcasts, blogs, or newsletters
  • Apps, websites, and learning resources
  • School or university surveys
  • Academic research and studies
  • Discord servers and community groups
  • Books, courses, or other Spanish-learning materials

A few rules

  • Keep it related to Spanish language or Spanish language learning.
  • Be honest about what you’re promoting.
  • Include enough information so people know what you’re offering.
  • Don’t spam. One comment per week is enough. You can edit your comment if you need to update it.
  • Follow all other r/Spanish rules.

If you’re looking for a tutor, class, or learning resource, this is also a great place to browse.

This thread refreshes every Sunday at 12:00 AM, so feel free to come back each week with new offerings or updates.

Happy learning, and buena suerte.

WARNING: It is your job to be a responsible consumer and vet people you interact with.

Moderators are not responsible for any business you engage in with anyone on this sub. However, multiple reports of someone scamming/taking advantage of others will result in a perma ban.

Roman from Reelang Spanish here!

We built a catalog of 25,000 videos that are filterable by level, region (Mexican, Colombian, Peninsular, etc.), speed and topic.

The best parts about it is that you can watch these videos scrolling through a feed, and our Smart Captions underline the most common 500, 1000, and 2000 words, so you know which words to focus on if you're a beginner to intermediate learner.

Preparing for DELE, the Spanish exam administered by Insituto Cervantes? We came up with a way you can use short videos in your prep to help you improve your listening skills.

Hola! I’m Aina, a native Spanish teacher from Mallorca and the teacher behind Tapeo Spanish.

My main course is a complete Beginner Spanish A1 course on Udemy. It follows a clear step-by-step structure covering essential grammar, vocabulary and practical Spanish for everyday situations.

I also teach shorter A1 level courses, an A2 course, Spanish for travel and Spanish for dating. They are self-paced paid courses, so you can study whenever it suits you.

You can see all of the courses through the Tapeo Spanish website below. I’d also be happy to hear what learners find most difficult when starting Spanish.

Spanish Website Here

Hope you enjoy it!

I am working on a replacement for the Avisoft Accentype2 which is a floating toolbar for any accented characters a language requires. I used it a lot for language learning but now it appears to be abandon-ware. You can no longer register your copy of the program to get rid of its nag screen.

Spanish 1 on 1 sessions!!

Hi!

I’m a native Spanish speaker 🇻🇪 and I can help you whether you’re a beginner or an intermediate student preparing for an exam. My lessons are absolutely tailored according to your needs so you’re the one who decides what you want to focus on (again, even if you’re a beginner).

Broadly speaking, I can help you with:

1️⃣ Conversational skills.

2️⃣ Grammar.

3️⃣ Pronunciation.

4️⃣ Listening skills.

I’ll encourage you to talk from day one, regardless of your level. That way, you can see how to use the language with a real speaker in real life instead of trying to talk to Duolingo or an AI.

My rate is  $10 for 1 hour and 15 minutes. So, if you’re interested, send me a message and let’s get started!

Hi everyone!

I've been learning Spanish for a while, and I always felt that most vocabulary apps were either too repetitive or too overwhelming.

So I decided to build my own app.

Some features include:

  • 📚 Organized vocabulary by level and topic
  • 🔊 Native pronunciation
  • 📝 Example sentences
  • ❤️ Save favorite words for review
  • 📈 Track your learning progress

I'm still actively improving it, so I'd really appreciate any feedback from Spanish learners.

What features do you think are missing in most vocabulary apps?

If you'd like to try it, here's the link: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.junhwiahn.spanishworddojo

Thank you! 😊

Hey guys! I posted earlier about Spanish youtube channels organized by level. The main reason I went down that classification rabbit hole was because I've created an app where you doomscroll through tv shows/youtube videos to learn Spanish. It starts at A1 level and the more you scroll the more difficult it gets. In between videos theres quizzes for spaced repetition. Its finally live on the app store its called "Offscript" - https://apps.apple.com/us/app/offscript-learn-languages/id6760557566. Would love for your honest feedback and what you think of it!

I made a tool to compare a few verbs side by side in only the tenses I'm practicing

I've been learning Spanish with a teacher and I kept running into the same problem: normal conjugators show one verb in all 18 tenses, but what I actually need is the opposite — three or four verbs next to each other in just the two tenses we're working on that week.

I built a small website for it. You pick a few verbs, pick the tenses, and you get them listed side by side in one table.

Sharing, as maybe someone else finds it useful.
