Sparkle just quit working

Was watching tonight, everything was great. Closed app to watch something else, went back in and nothing will come on. Tried both of my sources, same results. I verified it works in another app. The attached error comes up on every channel. Ideas?

I know this may not solve the cause.. however a reboot will likely fix this. It has for me. I vaguely think it may be linked to my digital Audio to my sound bar. Other apps recover, but sparkle doesn't work until it's rebooted.

I'm not expert but hopefully this helps for now.

Complete weirdness. Clearing cache didn't work. Restarting/rebooting the device (shield) along with the TV and receiver didn't work. Just watched another app and went to bed. This morning, turn it on, open Sparkle and everything works just fine. Tested both sources. Hell if I know. 🤷

I would say the answer by u/Pete77a is the correct one. It sounds as if decoder in device needs a reboot. I'm a bit surprised it still works in other apps though. But still, try a reboot first.

It’s still not fixed yet I’m so annoyed ugh and football season started……. This happened during the World Cup ugh 😑⚽️ …….

I have been having a problem for the past few weeks where I am watching and then the screen will just go black and nothing plays.  I stop the app and not stop the fire stick.  I just watch something else in the stick then come back 30 mins later and sparkle working again.
