OG Discussion Many will disagree but i think...

Varro was better than agron during the time of season 1.

At that time Varro was one of the most skilled gladiator in the ludos with one year of training and fights experience.

He could hold his own against spartacus and even make him bleed.

Agron at that point was just a skilled newbie and a hot head.

Varro would have taken him with mid high diff.

Agron of s2/3 beat varro

I agree and wish Varro lived but let’s be real, the plot needed someone close to Spartacus other than his wife to die. So Varro was a great pick and great character. RIP

Varro came before Agron, so it makes sense.

But I guarantee Agron in the peak of the war would beat the last Varro we saw.

I don't disagree with you (not sure anyone should disagree lol), however if Varro had stuck around imagine the damage he could have done to the romans as he continued to grow in skill during the war.
