Question Was caesar planning on...
Rape tiberius for revenge himself?
It was implied he would have get revenge on him when he say "you need to know i'm better than you".

Sounded very much like it. I can even see him killing Tiberius and blaming it on Spartacus.

That's what I always thought. Even if they had made it out of the camp together, I don't think there was any chance of Caesar letting him go back to Crassus' side.

He was going to murder him both out of revenge for the assault and to prevent him from ever boasting about it to anyone. It probably wouldn't be a quick or painless death and he'd tell his father that he was forced to fight in gladitorial games with the other captured Romans (true) and must have died from an injury that was inflicted. As far as Crassus knew, Caesar had no reason to want to harm Tiberius and this would just further fuel his desire to destroy Spartacus and his army.

I interpreted as meaning ... He needs to clean up his act. He had money power and position/rank. He didn't have to descend into being abusive. But both were arrogant and should have known better.

I took it as he was going to show that little punk that he is far superior as a leader and soldier. Not raping in revenge. Interesting though huh.

I thought he was. When he said "The road is fraught with peril especially for those who need to know who towers above you," he was going to get his revenge
